User role descriptions don't fit to selection available in Combo-Box

On the account admin page the user role descriptions on the upper right side (Owner, Admin, User) do not fit to the options in the Combo-Box (Admin, Contributor, User).
What is the difference between a Contributor and a User?
The description for User suggested to me, that it is read only. Testing showed, that a User can see and edit all pads.

I would not have guessed that the contributor has less rights than the user, as the order in the combo-box is Admin, Contributor, User (which seems to be alphabetic, not hierarchical order, which I expected).

The link to the guide on how to collaborate with external partners is really cool there. Just the formatting suggested to me at the first glimpse that guide is another user role. But that's just about beauty...
