rename pad

I'd really like to be able to rename my pad from "3" to something more descriptive, and can't believe there doesn't seem to be an option to do this. Any ideas?

The only way to do this currently would be to copy the content from your existing pad into a new pad with the desired name, then deleting the first pad. The only problem with this is you would loose the pad revisions and timeslider.

The workaround is not the best, as it does not only loose revisions as mentioned by markfisher, but the whole formating as well (tested with Firefox and IE9).

To avoid the link-trouble it would be cool if the rename would trigger an email to all contributors, etc. of that pad to announce the rename and the consequences of the changed URL.
